Reviews"VOL. 4 is renowned mostly for the hedonism and drug use that went down during the album’s creation in Los Angeles. But nearly 50 years later, it stands as the creative pinnacle of the Ozzy era.", "...Storms of Liquid Metal...The Sabs Pour It On...The Sabs Are Genius...", Ranked #60 in Q's "100 Greatest British Albums" - "...The sound of drug-taking, beer-guzzling hooligans from Britain's oft-pilloried cultural armpit let loose in LA..."
Additional InformationMurky, self-produced masterpiece where the metal pioneers turned in some of the heaviest, most doom-laden songs of their career.
Vol 4 It's got it's moments and it's got it's what was that all about bit. The moments are Under The Sun and Tomorrows Dream the what was that all about is FX. Changes is a piano and Ozzy. You'll either like it or loathe it. Not their greatest album but still a good one. Now FX. If you play guitar plug it in and put some analog delay on it. Now get a pick and start pushing the strings out the way and scrape some of that dirt out from between the frets. You'll now be playing FX. I suppose the 70's was a different time and the drugs were better. Ignore FX and the rest is damn good stuff depending on how you feel about Changes.
