Lightweight with great features
Joseph Campbell was a phenomenon! Probably the wisest person of our times, at least in the Western Hemisphere. Ahead of his time, too…listen to him define ‘Mindfulness Meditation’ in the second hour of the series…years *before* MM was called by that name.

True Classic
It is an excellent study and presentation of Mythology. It is spoken in language that laymen can understand and actually enjoy. It is a great program.

great description of the meaning of legends
Joseph Campbell was a genius with a COMPLETE grasp of the origins of mankind's legends and the origins of many myths. A scholar and gentleman (in the classic sense)

The Power of Myth
This series is intellectually engaging. Joseph Campbell was truly remarkable in his knowledge and experiences. He is able to draw on various cultures sharing similar ideas. It is absolutely fascinating! I first watched the series in the early 90's. I wanted to own a copy then and am grateful to have one now. Highly recommended! You won't be disappointed.
