Slightly heavier duty than a firestik spring for "5' antenna".
Spring has a ground wire inside it. It is wider in the center which helps to keep it from bending just a little, compared to firestik heavy duty. All in all, it's not that much heavier duty. But...I am using a 7' firestik. So, when I drive it still arches back quite a but, it protect it from damage. And I can still pull it down for securing like a humvee. Heavy duty Antenna shock spring
