Period Drama, Entertaining and good watch
If you like period drama, then this movie is for you. I like the costumes and the plot, although there are some episodes where everything just seems to drag, but the costumes and beautiful sets are truly eye catching.

Great Historical Drama
I really like this series. The sets and costumes are beautiful and the acting is really good. I would recommend. I just wish they would put season's 2 and 3 on DVD for the American region.

A favorite
This is one of my favorite shows ever. The actors portray their roles perfectly. It makes King Louis XIV and all around him come alive and take you back to baroque times in France. If you're someone that likes period dramas, this is something you should watch. The whole show is filmed at the actual palace of Versailles, so to see all the beautiful rooms and gardens really adds to the overall experience.

Great historical period drama
Engaging characters. Well written. Fitting music. If you like period dramas you’ll definitely like this. Superb costumes. Well directed. Can’t say enough. Resembles a well made mini series. I’d say historical accuracy is close enough for entertainment.

Quality
Great period piece. Photography, film quality, and location if Versailles, the actors were lucky. Not a green screen production. Of course, fiction mixed with facts but those who like history will enjoy the series.
