Seagate Drives #1 in my book.!
Have always used Seagate after finding many other brands just don;'t stand up. Have had an odd drive failure over many years, but probably can count on one hand. Don't need failures coming back to me, why I depend on a Warranty that backs me up just in case. Note: Warranty does not protect against a user's foly! Fast hard drive for a good price
Product came WELL packaged within multiple layers of cardboard. Electrostatic packaging appeared unopened and drive looked new. Luckily I found my extra SATA cables and quick install hard drive brackets for my housing. All connected effortlessly and my I7-2700 recognized it when I started the system back up. Took me a while to figure out how to get Windows 10 to recognize the space but soon figured that out and I now have 1.8TB of useable storage space for files and backups. Great Seagate at an excellent price, given the current market!
Typical Seagate, typical Barracuda - ABSOLUTELY SUPERIOR to all the rest, this size, no different! When I have been lured away fro Seagate by a good deal on another brand, I have regretted it. Seagate drives last longer, perform more reliably I have yet to see one fail. Usually they are obsolete first. Actually I did see one die. It was in an external. I tripped on the cord and it bounced off the floor. No drive survives that. The exception of this drive is that is was the best price for this size. I paid a price for this seen only 2-3y ago. Great find on a Barracuda drive...
This item was actually "Brand New", must have been open box or return, it was still in the static protection bag that new drives are shipped in, it was also the "thin" model, I've purchased as many as 15 drives of this same model and all work great...Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Always trust Seagate

Great storage solution at a great price.
