Worth it.
Only slightly better than the previous version. (which has now been released on blu ray with the same crappy resolution first seen on its VHS tape,) solely due to the outstanding Zaphod Beeblebrox and the much improved Vogons. The previous version has a much better Arthur, Ford, Marvin, the Narrator and Arthur's neighborhood folks AND it includes the Golgafrinchans and Milliway's which the new version skips completely.
