Both Original and Smart
For the most part I do not like dramas. I tend to judge whether or not I like a movie , series, or program on the basis of whether or not it is entertaining.. That being said, I really like this series. The actors, the writers and whom ever came up with the idea.. are to be commended.. All of that in spite of the fact that the protagonists are Russian spies who have infiltrated the U. S. with the intent to do harm.. I find myself rooting for them even though they are the enemy. All of that is because of the clever way the author and or writers put this together.

Two Russian Sleeper Spies are So integrated into the American way of life one can't at first believe this is possible. Yet they pull off their double life so well one finds oneself rooting for them as tey flirt with discovery by their FBI neighbor. A captivating tale of deception.

Great Series
I consider this one of the best TV series ever produced. Everything about it is superb. Season 4 is now ending on TV. I have purchased the first three of the series. I can't wait to buy the 4th in the series. Acting and script keep you wanting more. This spy series is not a James Bond kid series. It's made for adults. Lee

Matthew Rhys is the best!
The characters are so well played. Knowing that the premise of the program is true allows me to believe that all the killings and kidnappings could have happened. The disguises are perfect. The scenes of love, hate, jealousy and sex seem pretty real. It would be R rated as a movie.

Keri Russell IS the best! Great show!
Keri Russell is one of the best actresses of our time. She's so realistic it is easy to forget she is acting because she gives it all to her role and doesn't make it all about her.

The Americans Rocks
A wonderful series. I watched up to the final season. Could be almost historical. I loved this show and it had some jaw dropping moments. You have to be mature to watch this and a history buff.

Best SPY drama ever!!
One of THE BEST SPY dramas EVER!! have started it over after all these years. The characters are great! very well done!! I LOVE IT!!

Excellent Series
I love this series, well written and the actors, especially Keri Russell have done a superior job. I'm not usually interested in this type of series but Ive ordered and waiting on the Third Season.
