Exceeds expectations
I ordered this specifically to go with a Halloween costume, and honestly didn’t expect it to be very good quality, but it is, I love the weight and balance of it, and it was so easy to put together as well, 10/10 would buy again

This is my second set of Cold Steel trai...
This is my second set of Cold Steel trainers, but in a different style. These are really well-built and a great weight for realistic training. My son and I love 'em. A++

Perfect
Like everyone has commented, this thing is a tank! Pros: Indestructible. Doubles as a defensive club. Great price. Perfect handle. Good texture, like gym equipment. Weight feels similar enough to actual sword. Cons: Balance point is 5" closer to the point than the actual sword; considering this sword is already a tad front heavy, it makes the practice sword feel more like a club. Handle is much shorter than actual sword. Sparring tool only for the experienced. Will damage any softer/rubber/wood trainers you have. Final thought: I'll probably take the practice sword "blade" to the grinder to shave off some of the forward weight and balance it.

great for Pell work...
Not ideal for sparring as it has little flex this is not without its merits. I myself very much like the handle as it feels like a real sword will in your hands. Many are just a round or semi round grip but this actually feels like a full tank late medieval longsword. Very stout and almost unbreakable. Great for edge alliginment and Pell practice. You can fight with this but again it's not very flexible and the point of balance is too far forward, but I like that in a trainer anyway as it's more of a workout. Be forewarned if you plan on buying two and having epic backyard battles....these aren't toys. AMD they aren't flexible enough. I would recommend watching the video of one of these turning a pallet to toothpicks. It hurts to get hit with these. I would say a full force swing could easily break bones. So if backyard sparring is you intention I would look at the Rawlings synthetic sparing swords or another option. In my opinion these aren't safe for children. Again these are not toys.

Good stuff, get two tho becuase...
Some of my friends had this sword so I already knew it was good and durable. I like this sword, just make sure you get two of them because you can't really fight yourself haha

Nice training sword!
My son uses these to practice his own sword and weapons moves. This sword is much like a broadsword would be, very stout and heavy. It stands up very well without marking when clashing with an object as well.

Not What I Expected
This is a quality made product, but if you are looking for a practice sword that is close to matching the weight, point of balance and handling of the Cold Steel Hand and a Half Sword, this falls short! It is blade heavy and does not handle anything like the real blade! If you are looking for a sword to work your muscles and become stronger, I think this sword will do that.

Box issues
Please pack more considerately. One end had a hole in it and the box was bending in the center. Product safe however.
