Love this movie
Now I can watch this movie whenever I want to and I love that. Great picture quality and I love the people in this movie including Ethel Merman, Donald O'Connor, Johnny Ray, Mitzi Gaynor, and the incomparable Marilyn Monroe. I also saw George Chakiris (Bernardo in West Side Story) in this movie as a dancer.

Hollwood Entertainment at its Best !!!
They certainly do not make movies like this anymore. Marilyn Monroe at her "Best" with "Heat Wave". A movie the whole family can enjoy for years to come. If like musicals, you will love this movie.

The film highlights Marilyn’s excellent singing & dancing.
Marilyn was not enthusiastic about this film and only did it to fulfill her contract obligation to 20th Century-Fox. In spite of that, her performance is very entertaining highlighting her excellent singing voice and dancing skills! The rest of the cast are excellent!

This would have been better without the songs. Berlin is boring. Daily and O'Connor were great - especially dancing. The only reason it is advertised as part of The Marilyn Monroe Collection is that she was in it. She is not the main character. It's just an effort to exploit her name and so sell a movie.

Love Marilyn Monroe and 1950’s Movies!
Great cast! Marilyn,Mitzi and Johnny Ray all engaging. Show business is name of the game! Great musically numbers by Marilyn and adorable Mitzi Gaynor! Not a big fan of Ethel Merman’s voice but she was from the time movie was made. Fun costumes up beat musical. But I didn’t buy Johnny Ray as a Priest... A bit far fetched there!
