Ex Machina: All About Ava...
The premise is simple. The setting is simple. The story is anything but simple. It is a retelling of the Garden of Eden story set in the near future when AI becomes a reality. Ava, an advanced AI automaton, plays her examiner and her "creator" like Isaac Stern played his Stradivarius! The question is: what separates machine from Humankind? A computer can amass factual data to know "truth;" but Human Beings arrive at "truth" through the sum of experience...In fact. that's my best advice: experience this move- just watch, learn the truth and enjoy! You might not be prepared for that surprise ending. I'll put it this way: In Eden, the smartest of all wasn't God; wasn't the serpent; wasn't Adam. Eve- I mean, Ava, outsmarted them all. Men, be warned: don't ever ever underestimate a woman's will to get what she wants!

A terrific sci fi entry
As realized by Alicia Vikander, Ava makes this film a success. Actually the entire cast is excellent in this intently written film that is a clever take on the male's Pygmalion complex. Spoiler alert! The DVD version I received makes a slight edit in a small, but crucial scene.

ASIMOV'S VISION?
When Isaac Asimov's book I' ROBOT (not related to the sloppy barely related movie) came out, this movie was still beyond the horizon, but Asimov had his own visions of a real future; this movie creates a more defined acknowledgement of what he envisioned. It is beautiful to watch and both sad and thrilling. Is this movie our future in robotics? It may well be.

Excellent thriller with awesome special effects.
Everyone should view this movie just to see the possibilities of what A.I. can do. Problem is that everything man touches comes with his twisted and fallen nature. Impossible to escape from these traits when trying to replicate the human mind. Great acting. You end up caring for the characters involved. Awesome special effects. Good job for first time producer and director of this movie.

Oscar Worthy
A friend of mine gave me his copy to watch and I was not expecting much. I was so impressed with this movie I bought my own DVD copy. Not of the mainstream Hollywood produced movies this one deserves to be rated at least in the Sundance Festival as a best movie. The subject matter of artificial intelligence was dealt with remarkably well. I never heard of the three main actors and director, but I would go see them in any future movies. The computer generated images of Ava, the acting, scenery, and story line were superb. Unfortunately there is no sequel.

First class sic-fi
Intelligently written and brilliantly acted by the cast with Alicia Vikander outstanding as Ava who joins the pantheon of robots, cyborgs and androids of movie sic-fi history. She seduces the audience as well as the main character in this film which explores the nature of human consciousness in this thoroughly enjoyable film.

Ex Machina Review
Fantastic sci -fi movie with excellent plot and very engaging actors. I was engrossed from the very beginning. The lead actress is very sexy and you fall for her quickly. I love this movie. Don't miss it !

Imagine, just imagine, love in the time of robots. Crazy, sexy, yet a delicate ride of the soul. Ex Machina is a virtual reality of beauty, beyond the normal realm of human existence.
