Each care plan begins with a nursing diagnosis and includes Related To (Etiology), As Evidenced By (Assessment Findings/Diagnostic Cues), Outcome Criteria, Long-Term Goals, Short-Term Goals, and Interventions and Rationales. Integrates psychopharmacology information for each disorder. Features Client and Family Teaching boxes for easy reference and to ensure clear communication of the required care regiment. Nurse, Client, and Family Resources include website addresses, association information, and additional resources for client teaching material, medication information, and support groups. The new two-color design improves readability and overall design. Revised chapter design presents sections consistently and makes essential information easier to identify.
