    Great seller, fast responses, easy to deal with. Canada Post strike means higher shipping costs. Well packaged but it looked like a tank drove over it. Also not on the seller. Being watch crystals there was damage. Again not on the seller. Ebay immediately offered a refund. I am out the strike related fees which is not on eBay. Items as described. Great price per crystal for whats left. I won't claim as elsewhere its 5x the cost; it is discouraging. C'est la vie. I'd buy from this seller again.

    I guess DHL ignores fragile labels. These were double boxed with plenty of packing material, but from the photos you shared, I'm guessing they ran over it with a forklift or truck. Gotta love DHL International...

    This product arrived as described; New in Box. Still has the original shrink-wrap on it (the crinkly old kind from 2003). The price was fantastic. I have been looking for this model kit for almost a decade, but the prices were always too high. This seller's price was perfect. It also was shipped the day after purchase and arrived within the stated period. Very quick. I'm impressed and would buy from them again. I have not opened the kit yet, but it appears to be in perfect shape.

    REQUIRES SOME HELP

    BELIEVE THIS KIT WAS ORIGINALLY RELEASED IN THE 1950'S. DETAIL IS NOT AS BAD AS MOST LINDBERG KITS BUT A LOT OF 'KIT BASHING' IS REQUIRED TO MAKE A FAIRLY DETAILED SHIP. THE KIT HAS A NUMBER OF INACCURACIES YOU'LL NEED TO OVERLOOK [it's actually a long hulled ESSEX CLASS ship/i.e. CV-14,19,21 etc] BUT A DECENT KIT TO BUILD AS LONG AS YOU DO SOME RESEARCH & BE CREATIVE.

    Old but still fun

    This an old kit that’s been around for decades, but it one of Lindberg’s better models. Well molded and parts go together easily with little modeling involved. This is a nice size model and parts are large which makes this a good beginners model. My only problem is that all the hanger bay doors are all open, in the newer rerelease kits they come with a cardboard deck to fill in the open space. The older kits just leave you with a gaping hole where you can see the inside of the empty hull. Otherwise this is nice kit that will produce a beautiful model.

    USS Yorktown

    I had read a few reviews against it but so far it is going together well. At my age (79) I am no longer a perfectionist as my hands are not that steady. I have been aboard the Yorktown at Patriots Point, SC on 2 occasions and enjoyed the visit. That is why I wanted a Yorktown model.

    Good product

    It is a good addition to my collection and I like the number of aircraft included although I would like to have a variety of the planes the Navy used rather than just hellcats.
