Great CD with all the hits
I like Tome Jones so I definitely like this CD. There are all the hits on it. However, often I buy greatest hits CD and then I wish I buy individual albums. In general I find individual albums make more sense, because on Cd like this there is too big mixture of different genres of music. 80yrs old & still a class act.
The 'Jones' bloke can still cut it live & this CD proves it. Unfortunately keyboards have replaced orchestras & to see a 5pc backing band on stage instead of 20+musicians somehow doesn't feel or indeed sound the same. Everything is down to economics these days but Tom deserves the real deal. Not a huge criticism, just an observation & an opinion.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Tom Jones Rediscovered
Decently good sound quality. To my ears, sounds slightly compressed so do not do justice to his incredible voice. Jones was at his best during the 60s and 70s where his powerful vocal suits the big band/orchestra accompanying him. If you want to know his vocal prowess, get his original vinyl of the 60/70s on Decca label. Nevertheless, this CD represent great value for 29 songs.
