Synopsis
#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER * Don't miss the hit streaming series Reacher ! "Jack Reacher is today's James Bond, a thriller hero we can't get enough of."--Ken Follett "This is a random universe," Reacher says. "Once in a blue moon things turn out just right." This isn't one of those times. Reacher is on a Greyhound bus, minding his own business, with no particular place to go, and all the time in the world to get there. Then he steps off the bus to help an old man who is obviously just a victim waiting to happen. But you know what they say about good deeds. Now Reacher wants to make it right. An elderly couple have made a few well-meaning mistakes, and now they owe big money to some very bad people. One brazen move leads to another, and suddenly Reacher finds himself a wanted man in the middle of a brutal turf war between rival Ukrainian and Albanian gangs. Reacher has to stay one step ahead of the loan sharks, the thugs, and the assassins. He teams up with a fed-up waitress who knows a little more than she's letting on, and sets out to take down the powerful and make the greedy pay. It's a long shot. The odds are against him. But Reacher believes in a certain kind of justice . . . the kind that comes along once in a blue moon. • Good book

My husband liked this book very much. He had a copy before and had lost it so I ordered him another copy since he wanted to read it again He likes all this author’s books

  • Blue Moon is a true Reacher novel. Not the best but certainly not bad.

Lee Child is a wordsmith and writes his Reacher novels with thorough story lines and facts about the background and situations, and renders action so you feel like you are there. Unfortunately this is the last Reacher book he has written. Once I picked up Blue Moon, I couldn't put it down...to eat or sleep. Then I went back and read it again to pick up the nuances I had missed the first time. This is a bit more bloodthirsty than usual, but still enthralling. The next books are written by his younger brother and are incompetent at best.

  • Great book, like all the ones before. A person needs to start at the first one.

I am on book 17, started at #1, and of Lee Child’ books about Reacher are great. Wish I had known a man, that fit his life. Every woman would have been fighting over him.

  • good stuff

Typical Jack Reacher, full of interesting people and lots of action. Lee Child has created an icon for the readers of this type of fiction.
