Not Nearly as Big as Burke's "Connections"
Fast paced visual affects, accompanied by needlessly loud sound affects, all to illustrate some very basic and very obvious cause and effect relationships which shaped the history of the human race and its' current day status. Each twenty-two minute segment is obviously written and choreographed for the ADD crowd. Relies heavily on the shallow dogma of popular science and popular history, as it leap frogs from one Big event to another with almost no attention to the details which led to those events. Frequently repetitious, often reducing the source of all events to the Big Bang.....Really?! A mildly educational series requiring only your passing attention while you concentrate on your TV dinner.
