Excellent design
I like to open up my Nerf guns and see what I can do to improve the overall performance of them. To my surprise, I found out that I couldn't improve this gun at all. As far as I can see the Apollo Xv-700 is designed the best way it can be designed, which never happened to me before. (There was one way that it could be improved, and that is by strengthening the spring; but you can do that to basically all dart guns). After shooting it for a while, I found out that when the box said that it had superior accuracy, the box was right. It is ten times more accurate then any other Nerf gun I had. So you don't have to waste 10 darts trying to hit a target, which is probably the biggest reason I like this gun. This gun is powerful. If you decided to use this gun in a indoor faculty it can reach your target. Before I got this gun I was worrying that it might hurt someone (and get me in trouble). The reason why it hurts is because some balls are harder than others, and when the soft ones are shot at a target 3 ft away it stings a little more than a Elite Nerf dart shot at the same distance. What I did to solve this problem was to buy an extra package of balls. After I got them I separated the harder balls from the softer balls. So when I want to shoot a person, then I use the softer balls. When I want to use the gun for target practice and not hit people I use the harder ones. This method stops people from crying when they get hit, which is good. I wish that I had not bought all the other Nerf guns that I have and just bought this one. This gun is well worth $26, not like most other dart guns.

Great gift item
We got these for nearly our whole family. They were all excited. I have not seen them used for more than a few minutes so can't really comment on the durability, but they look well made.
