The Jurassic World Franchise is complete.
I never got around to purchase the first Jurassic World. When the second one came out in 2017, I purchased that one at Target, which was an Exclusive. Before the third one came out, I ordered the first Jurassic World on Ebay. It, too, was a Target Exclusive with a bonus disc. What was ironic, this one came in the mail on Tuesday, August 16, the same day the third Jurassic World came out in stores. I purchased both the Blu-ray and the 4KUHD at Target. Now, I was able to play all of them in sequence. I never got around to purchase the first Jurassic World. When the second one came out in 2017, I purchased that one at Target, which was an Exclusive. A fun time
This is not a mentally or emotionally charged movie. The characters are not very developed; but that's ok too. It is entertaining; and there is nothing wrong with that. Because hey; it's all about the dinosaurs. Lol. Big shout out for Chris Pratt; who looked like a total bad..s and hot to boot. He wasn't known for being a leading action type guy; but pulled it off big time. I also liked the throwbacks to the first movie...reminded me of how it all started/full circle type of thing. The acting was fake as well as the story!
The movie was not very good at all. It looked and felt poorly written with special features that all looked put together by several individuals. It had very good sound and picture blu ray quality,but the movie really was garbage. My wife asked me to get rid of it. She only could watch about half the movie. It now sits not with my other blu ray movies in our bedroom but in the garage next to my tool box. My wife and I are both retired and have seen outstanding movies over the years. Recently in 2015 we saw a movie with Owen Wilson and Pierce Brosnan called "No Escape" Wow! What a fantastic action movie with acting over the top. It was an A+ movie. Thankyou.The movie was not very good at all. It looked and felt poorly written with special features that all looked put together by several individuals. It had very good sound and picture blu ray quality,but the movie really was garbage. My wife asked me to get rid of it. She only could watch about half the movie. Jurassic World BLU-RAY + DVD + DIGITAL HD
It's worth to watch. At some point Claire(Bryce Dallas Howard) revealed to Owen(Chris Pratt) that the corporate felt genetic modification would up the 'wow' factor. Well Colin Trevorrow, you are trying too hard to make a blockbuster instead of something memorable. In my opinion Owen and Simon(Irrfan Khan) played convincingly well, and lifted the movie, despite the plot being very predictable, not to mention the coerced family bonding field trip moments. The super intelligent multilingual hybrid dinosaur with thermal and cryptic camouflage is just too much. It even sports its own long range thermal sense. However, I would not say the movie sucks, it has many good qualities and much of the same atmosphere that I found in the original movie. It is certainly entertaining with awesome CGI, ... Funny, serious, great special effects, etc. It has it all!
This movie has captivated me since I first watched it! The characters are wonderful and perfectly selected for their roles. Plus, the special effects are superb, making the dinosaurs come alive. There are plots and sub-plots throughout. I could not ask for more.
