    The item was exactly as described and offered at a very competative price point. However, the packaging of the item left a lot to be desired! The box that the items were shipped in was basically crushed when I received the package delivery at my front door. The shipper even put a sticker on the box indicating that the package was received by them damaged. Fortunately the items in the box did not sustain any damage.

    The rebuild kit was great, but the fact that it was necessary after one year, is disappointing

    The rebuild kit makes the cleaner work better. An improvement over the component(s) that came with the original unit. However, it begs the question why the original unit wasn't as outstanding in the first place. We needed to replace the large part after one full year's use (the calendar year made the replacement outside the warranty period). Further, we had to open the original unit several times because the drive chain had fallen off the cogs.

    Just Like New Again

    I can't tell you how many times we've taken the Polaris 3900 Sport into the "shop". It's always one thing or another, never the same thing twice, of course. This Rebuild Kit has made my Polaris run like new again and at 1/2 the price it would have cost at out local Pool Supply store. Well worth the price. Very easy to install too.

    Easy to install but necessary for Polaris after a few3 years

    Replaces key components of Polaris drive. Unfortunately this rebuild is necessary periodically, a fact of life for Polaris which is designed to wear out after a few years.

    Waterway Pool Cleaner Boost Pump

    I purchased this pump to replace the original Polaris boost pump. The pump was a direct replacement with just minor PVC pipe changes to line up as the Polaris water intake was directly in the middle of the pump head rather than offset like this pump. The pump came with a 110/220 volt switch so wiring was easy. The pump is quiet and so far is working as designed. Seems like a good value for the money. I am very satisfied.

    Best there is ... Period

    This is the only pool cleaner I've found that will pick up sand and roof aggregate ... Don't waste your money on any of the cheaper brands ... IMHO
