Very well packaged, wrapped within a small plastic container. Although it took almost a month for delivery to US, it is worth the wait!! I am beyond pleased with this piece and very grateful. Same concept just different stone. I was unhappy because it didnt say in the listing that it was just an example of what I could receive, not the actual item. It was about 50% uglier than the one pictured, so I accepted their 50% refund. I wish I would have received the one pictured, as it was very nice. 😞
