I wish the item listing mentioned that it wouldn't look like the photo. I have very tight tolerances in my case and the delivered stick had permanent
I wish the item listing mentioned that it wouldn't look like the photo. I have very tight tolerances in my case and the delivered stick had permanent heat shields attached. I managed to get it in there and the server booted without complaint so it's hard to be too upset over $7.

1 dead stick other than that the ram worked as needed
When it arrived I was unfortunately met with the reality that one of the sticks was DOA I only needed 8gigs worth and was gonna resell the remaining cause of the price I got them at. But about a month in using them and they seem to work perfectly fine the ones that do.

Perfect RDIMM for Mac Pro 5,1 Upgrade
Bought 4 sticks for a Mac Pro 5,1 as they have the same specs as the 'Apple Approved' RAM plus they're RDIMMs which is a plus. Installed, did a PRAM reset and booted. 32GB @ 1333MHz Mac goodness and saved $$ vs the Apple uDIMMs!
