    German engineered made in Malaysia

    Where this clock is made is not really a big deal to me. Chances are the computer you are using right now was made in China. It is well made, and keeps very accurate time. One of the things I like about this clock is how you set it. There are two tiny recessed buttons on the face at approximately the 7 and 5 position. The one on the 7 position will move the time backwards, the one at the 5 position will move it forward. You will use the tip of a ball point pen to do this. When initially depress one of these buttons it will move slowly. The longer the button is depressed, the faster it will move the min. hand. the nice thing about those buttons is that you hardly see them unlike other brands that have the big stem that sticks out and covers up one of the numbers.     Great clock for your VW

    This clock has the look the matches the gauges of my 70 Ghia. It also has close to the same bulb brightness so it doesn’t stand out like the super bright tachometers. A nice piece. If you want to replace, you can do MUCH worse and expensive.

    Used for motorcycle

    Clock has been in service for a couple of years. It is not water resistant and will fog up in the presenter of excessive moisture. But it always drys up and continues to work. I am sure this was designed to be inside a vehicle so I can not fault it. It is clean looking, simple to set,and keeps accurate time. Plus it was inexpensive.

    hard to distinguish minute from hour hand especially at night love the jerking action of hands reminds me of old school clocks feel younger? had to paint case to keep glare off windshield but best out there

    Tip

    Gauge works well. Time setting is not obvious. To do so, push in small buttons with a toothpick to move the clock hands to the time setting desired.
