Works well for a need to have basis
Working good. Have to have to convert a Gm vehicle with Bose system. Very confusing wiring. Installed hundreds of stereos but nothing like this

Perfect for Acura RL - Bose HU Replacement
This worked perfectly for me to replace the Factory Bose head unit in my 1998 Acura RL. It goes between the new head unit (Pioneer, in my case) and the output wiring to the Bose amplifier (which I am still using). It converts the 4 ohm load from the HU to an acceptible 2 ohm load for the proprietary Bose system, without overdriving the Bose amp. No hiss, no noise, just powerful clean sound. On the specs, Honda/Acura list this as compatible through 1997, and then specify the version 20 update (with RCA outputs) for '98 and beyond. However, for feeding the existing wiring to the Bose amp, this is the one to get. The wiring harnesses are properly done for Honea/Acura/Bose. So, it worked ideally for me in my tests. Now to solder to make it perfect! Only problem -- tight fit. Others have said it CAN fit.
