Rage is a first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world. You'll battle an assortment of mutants, creatures, and gang members with a mix of conventional and unconventional weapons, from pistols and shotguns to crossbows with electric arrows and an edged boomerang called the "wingstick."<br> <br>Also featured in the game are armored dune buggies and ATVs, allowing players to more easily traverse the deadly environments, engage in car combat, and enter optional races to earn money and increase their fame. The world in Rage features two main cities, large expanses of hostile terrain, and several adjacent outposts.<br><br>In addition to the single-player campaign, which spans an estimated 15 hours in length, Rage features two multiplayer game types. In "Rage Combat Rally," you'll use the game's vehicles to shoot down rivals, cross checkpoints, and more. "Legends of the Wasteland" is a two-player co-op mode featuring eight scenarios set in different areas from the solo campaign.

Exactly as described. Seller noted one pillow is very slightly a different shade of linen than the other which I accepted. I'm very, very picky. Rage is right
The developers of this game were ranting about how innovative this game was going to be and how it allowed the player to do great things...right! Sure glad I got this on the cheap as I was really disappointed in it! Anyway Rage is a good name for this game as it always makes me feel rage when I have spent my money on another crap game. To start with this game is not an open world...it's so scripted and you can only walk exactly where the path leads. In fact you can't even jump up on a small stone at the side of the road unless it's been scripted in. With few exceptions almost every door can't be opened at all...and then there are those with big locks on them that you have to have lock grinders to open, which, if you don't have the parts for, you have to purchase from a vendor. Also just driving around while being chased by people shooting at me...hmmm...smells like Far Cry 2...only not in Africa. The Interaction with the NPCs mostly just leads to crappy boring repetitive quests or setting up a race in order to win credits to buy power ups for your vehicles. All of the bandits look alike and sound alike...total lack of imagination...just plain a lazy effort on the developers part. So...if all you want from a game is to drive around in a dune buggy, or beat up hack, blowing up bandits, or racing around tracks for credits...then this is your game.

Excellent Game
Lots to accomplish in this game and the action is never boring. Always nice to see how the animation director will handle the kill effects in a first person shooters. In this game you can watch them stumble, crawl, or stagger to their deaths as you shoot the enemy characters. Amazing artwork and textures when played in hi res mode with max settings. Definitely a 9 out of 10 rated game... it's not Crysis, but it will keep you entertained as you make your way through the story line if you like post apocalyptic type games... this game definitely has Mad Max influence all over it!Lots to accomplish in this game and the action is never boring.
