Product Information

A father's tireless search for a cure to his disease-stricken daughter is the basis for this original action role-playing game from Square Enix. Joining the titular protagonist in his noble pursuit are various allies with distinctive abilities. Together they will attempt to locate the source of the disease, known as the Black Scrawl, and in the process, hopefully discover the antidote. Working against them are an assortment of dark creatures that must be overcome using a combination of steel and magic. As Nier earns experience by slaying monsters, he will gradually acquire new spells and combat moves to add to his formidable arsenal.

    Hidden Gem among Square Enix games

    This is definitely not your classic Square Enix turn-based game nor is it your more so family-friendly action RPG like Star oceans no this game is more akin to the original series drakengard back in the days of old but is that a bad thing absolutely not this game has replay value multiple endings a great combat system tons and tons of sidequest and much more to offer. The gameplay is challenging yet rewarding and the story is riveting all the way from beginning to end

    Arguably the best game of all time, story wise. Gameplay not stellar but u can deal with it trust me. Oh, and the music is top notch.

    Its a great game that focuses alot more on its unique approach to its story, and its oddly characterized but compelling characters. The disc came in perfect condition, the case was slightly worn but overall it is a great product that shipped fast. Thanks

    Good Graphics, Amazing Designs

    It might not look great and combat is a bit clunky at times, but the designs in this game are amazing. The graphics are a bit lacking and the gameplay is slower than most may be used to. Once I got past those minor gripes, I found a very charming game with a strong attention to detail. Combine that with the great characters and the mystery that slowly starts building up and you have a incredibly engaging game.

    Play Nier

    Nier is a great franchise and I'm glad to be able to finally play the first installment, the game disc I received is in great condition and works without issue.
