You can visibly see the compression/low bitrate in a lot of scenes, and the source material they scanned has significant issues of its own (scratches, blemishes, etc). The subtitles are annoying to disable, but it is doable. All that said, this is (AFAIK) literally the only option to own it on a new legit disc in the US. If you love the movie, or you're a Pink Floyd fan, it's probably worth it despite the flaws.

Sound is awesome! Picture is very good. Don’t expect a Criterion full restoration but the quality never distracted from the experience. I hadn’t seen this film in decades and I was shocked how many scenes I remembered that have apparently been burnt into my mind. Highly recommend picking this up from this seller. Fast, secure shipping. Item totally legit.
