A Street Cat Named Bob DVD
Amazing!!!! EVERYBODY should watch this one. A true inspiration. I was devastated to learn Bob died only last week at aged 14 bless him. He will be sorely missed im sure. Watch this one and read the book too!!!

Great British movie
Director clearly a big Charles Dickins' fan and uses that sensibility to good effect in a movie that has amazing charm.Well paced and well acted, with a little cameo from the authors that's quite funny. Best British movie for a while, in my book

Lovely adaptation of a true story
I watched this with my grandchildren as a treat as Bob is clever, loyal and entertaining just like my own cat and is also the absolute double of my cat whom the grandkids adore. I was a little worried at first when I realised that we would have to do some explaining James' addiction and illness. However, we all really loved the film, and the kids both saw Bob quite simply as the cat as the special friend whose love, loyalty and devotion helped saved the life of James.I watched this with my grandchildren as a treat as Bob is clever, loyal and entertaining just like my own cat and is also the absolute double of my cat whom the grandkids adore. I was a little worried at first when I realised that we would have to do some explaining James' addiction and illness. An uplifting & entertaining film based on a true story. Charting one guys (Character: James Bowen's) journey from the gutter, homelessness & drug dependency to freedom & a brighter future. With a little help from a furry friend, enter Bob the distinctive ginger cat who both finds & comes into James's life at a crucial juncture. This film is definitely a feel good movie of which (if anything like myself) you will be engrossed watching & cheering on James, an unlikely hero with an even more unlikely companion (Bob the cat) & their overcoming of many challenges & adversaries in pursuit of abstinence, joy & happyness. Both James & Bob are inseparable from the moment they meet & are able to lean & or carry & support each other through the rigourous trials & challenges they face. This is a must ... Thoroughly enjoyable
Wonderful film. I’ve read the books and really enjoyed reading about James and Bob, and how Bob changed his life beyond anything he could have imagined. I hoped the film wouldn’t be disappointing, and it wasn’t. It stars Bob the cat as himself, of course. There were quite a few changes in the film from the book, but that’s expected and didn’t deter from the story at all. I found the end very moving, especially the very last scene. I highly rate this film for a cozy night in front of the t.v. Thoroughly enjoyable.Wonderful film.
