It make units humming and noise.
I am living en the EU. Should use it for my synthezeisers which was bought in Japan. This step down converter make the synths humming and noisy. (I bought another type and it was fine:Nissyo Industry DN-203 Voltage Step Down Transformer 220/240V to 100V- AC70W). Cannot recommend this unit.

Be careful!
Be careful! Actually, this is not a "down trans" which means voltage did not decrease 100V. It changes (cut) voltage sine curve. This indicates that this is available for heaters which is simply a power consumption. If you want to use electronics devices, it will brow up. When you use it in Australia, 240V will get inside to your electronics devices. However, as long as you use for heaters, no problem. If you want to use 100V safely, buy a power supply which you can find around 150AUD made in Australia. You can find them by google.

leider nicht ganz so toll
der Transformer bringt scheinbar nicht genug Leistung, denn mein Gerät 100V aus Japan, zeigt zwar an das es am Netz ist, also Standby geht aber es schaltet nicht an, weder über Fernbedienung, noch am Netzschalter. Bei einem 110V Transformer funktioniert das Gerät tadellos. Für den preis wäre es eine gute Alternative gewesen nicht 110V durch das Gerät zu schicken welches nur 100V verträgt. Keine Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.

It cause a real demage !
When I have tryed to use it , a white smoke raised and it damaged my device ! Don't buy it !!!

Junk. Will kill 100V devices fast.
The converter did not work, fried my SEIKO DL305K in spectacular fashion. If you don't want to destroy your gear, use something like the Ansmann 5111253-510 instead.

The owner told me not to use with rice cooker. But I did and worked well.
It is good for now. I used once.

It works
I bought it to use for takoyaki electric pan. It works just fine so far. Allthough it heats a little but bearable.
