I even needed to enlist the help of my mom to remove them. Maybe the post backs are not well made. I'm thinking they should be a snug enough fit to keep the earrings snugly in place but should be easy enough to remove. That was literally the only issue. Other than that, they're shiny and beautiful. Perfect size. 5mm.
