The sensitive Beatle with the big brown eyes, Paul McCartney was arguably the biggest heartthrob in one of the most important pop bands of all time. Since the Beatles broke up, he has continued to compose and perform with bands like Wings in solo capacity. On LIVE AT THE CAVERN CLUB, Paul is filmed at the Cavern Club in his hometown -- Liverpool, England -- for the first time since 1963, when the Beatles played there. Filmed on December 14, 1999, this spectacular concert features performances of Beatles classics as well as McCartney's solo work. In addition, special guest appearances by Pink Floyd's David Gilmour and Deep Purple's Ian Paice add significance to the live event.

    At first I thought this was a little on the pricey side but then I realized, after communicating with the seller, that it also had an Excellent condition MileyWorld Secret Code Insert. The CDs appear flawless and the case and inserts are in truly excellent condition. The seller shipped very quickly and packaged the CD in a slim box that seems made for CDs, and then inside of a padded envelope. All told excellent quality, a responsive seller, great packaging and value for my needs. A++++++

    The 2-CD set "25 Best: Guitar Heroes by Various Artists, 2008" is brand new, factory-sealed, as stated in the advertisement. The discs themselves are of good quality.     Sir Paul "gets back."

    An exceptional one-off performance of rock and roll covers and one Beatles chestnut at the place where it all began, Paul being supported by a crack band including Gilmour and Paice, that would make John proud. Raw and gritty, yet precise. It simply doesn't get much better!

    Too short

    A good show overall but some may prefer Beatles music vs Paul and the band doing the old standards that were influential to the Beatles' roots. Also a nice view into the rebuilt Cavern Club in Liverpool. Having visited there this past summer it was a nice 'relive moment'. Bonus vid of footage & places around the city was great. Rich

    Excellent concert! This DVD is in great condition, maybe someday we'll get a totally new restored Blu-Ray, but for now, this is more than viewable and the sound is excellent. Thanks!

    Paul at The Cavern Very Entertaining

    I thought it was well done, and a must for old Beatles fans. I think you will learn some different things about the club. Paul's comments about the club, and the Beatles was interesting as well.
