The purchase was all right. I received the product, but two rotors were scratched. The exterior box was significantly engulfed with packing tape to not let the box fall apart. The boxes inside the shipping box were deteriorated and/or ripped. The products were in a plastic sleeve, but the boxes were completely destroyed. Since there were so much weight to this purchase, the product was scratched due to the lack of packaging and possibly during its transit.

Fisher Paykel - worth repairing.
So far, so good. It's easy to install a new pump - just make sure that the kit you buy has the fuse included. The first one I bought did not come with a fuse, even though it was advertised as having one included. I also replaced the sprayer and the diverter valve, both easy to do. Initially, I went to Lowes to find a new machine and the saleswoman very honestly told me that if I have a Fisher Paykel machine, replace the parts before buying anything new. Fisher Paykel machines are very well made.So far, so good. It's easy to install a new pump - just make sure that the kit you buy has the fuse included. I'm a retired engineer so I decided to take on the repair of the fisher Paykel washer Quite simple since the washing machine codes tell you what is wrong... my machine code was drain pump failure The manual is located inside the control panel you need to remove the washing machine lid and 2 screws in the back to remove the panel Also there are many you tube videos showing repair proceduress So basically you lay the washer down unclip the wires and drain tubes hold the clip on the drain pump rotate it a quarter turn and remove takes about 10 minutes The drain pump worked excellent ! At the same time you may want to check the diverter valve since it sometimes is blocked with debris By purchasing the pump I saved at least $250 The pump was installed 3 months ago and has worked ... seems to be a good replacement
delivery was prompt, and packaging was well done.. it does not appear to be an exact match to the OEM, but it does fit and seems to work fine. it is sooo much quieter. Have only used it 3 times, and will update this ratting if it has issues in the near future. I will say it did leak when I first put it in, so i took it back out and cleaned up the mounting surface a little better and then put a light coating of wheel bearing grease on the mounting surfaces. That sealed it better and now has no leaks. BTW, a very simple change. The Fisher Paykel clothes washer is well designed and the drain pump is extremely easy to install. I did find a YouTube video that showed how to do the installation. It only took about 10 minutes to replace. The old pump (9 years old) was making a lot of noise and I decided to replace it. The loud noise immediately went away. The price ($100) was more than I wanted to pay, but this was the lowest price I could find. Many other suppliers wanted a lot more. By replacing it myself I saved a service call (probably at least $65) plus the cost of the part most likely would have been well above $100. Be sure to check the model number on the washer to be sure you order the right part. This washer is from Australia and some model are 220 volts 50 cycle. My washer is 110 volts 60 cycles. Some ... Excellent pump.
The pump was easy to install and the loud squealing noise from the 10 year old rusty leaky pump is gone. Hardest part was installing the new fuse because the wire that came with the fuse is much thicker than the existing wire in the machine.
