put in batteries and it worked just fine...
put in batteries and it worked just fine. when replacing older electronics, it is best to go with original parts if available, newer parts are not always compatible with older equipment.

Finally the correct remote
I have been looking for the remote control for my CD player for quite a while. I bought an open box player at Best Buy a couple years ago. I bought a remote that said it was compatible but it was not. This remote is the correct one for the CD player and I am really happy to finally get the remote that was the original factory one.
