Innocence lost
Make no mistake - Alina Cojocaru carries this ballet. This version of Giselle is better than most, but perhaps not as good as Svetlana Zakharov's version done at the Bolshoi. Alina does play the innocent peasant girl to a 'T', and she follows it up with excellent dancing. She does well enough that I think highly of this version, even though some of the story variances (and there are always some variances) do not play well to me. And the Royal Ballet is not the Bolshoi. But she is captivating enough that you can forget these and enjoy her superb portrayal.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
