Riveting Entertainment in the Charles Dickens Tradition.
Bleak House is one of the lesser widely known Charles Dickens Novels. However this lavishly produced T.V. film is quite entertaining and full of twists and turns that Dickens was famous for in all of his outstanding novels. The huge number of famous actors bring a certain magic to the tale and the pace never lets up. Charles Dance plays a cold and calculating lawyer who does everything in his power to make sure that the matter of a deceased estate never leaves the court and legal costs eventually take a cruel turn on everyone's inheritance.
