The Best LEGO Set ever!
My favorite set of all time. This just had to be the best designed set, even better than the 2017 UCS Millennium Falcon! LEGO did such a great job with the printing on the figures! Saruman is my favorite figure of all time! Treebeard is a worthy inclusion, although I wish it had included Merry and Pippin, considering they each only come in one other set. I’m a pretty fast builder, so the build only took me about 11 hours, but I expect it to take around 13-14 hours for most others.My favorite set of all time. Great set at a great price!
I love this set! It looks just like the Lego one with out the Lego price. When you get the set it is just the bags and instruction book. If you are not used to building Lego or any other Lego type sets, then this is not for you. I have built Lego and Nanoblocks, so not having the bags numbered was no problem. It was more like building with the Nanoblocks, but the pieces were bigger. What I mean is that you have to look through each bag for the piece you need for the step that you are on. I think the hardest part of building this set was looking in the bags for you pieces. The best advice I could give someone building this set is look at what piece you need carefully, a lot of the pieces look very similar with very slight differences. I had to take it apart at different times while building ... I love this set! It looks just like the Lego one with out the Lego price. When you get the set it is just the bags and instruction book. A must-have if you are a LOTR fan!
Hadn't looked at LEGOs since I was a kid, but recently I was looking at Lego toys for a gift and I stumbled across THIS... I had no idea that LEGO had changed so much (and also gone up in price:) At north of $200, this large kit is prolly not for the kids, but as a LOTR fan I had to have it! When built it is MORE impressive than the box pictures, almost 3 feet tall and just loaded with detail! The only downside is that there were missing parts despite it being new and sealed; but LEGO admits this can happen on their site, and replacements are available --or you could find them from many ebay sellers. For the Serious Builder!
A must have for the LEGO serious builder. This set had many of the unique pieces I was look for. I combine it with pieces of the Elves series to create a evil castle.

Great set for any LOTR fan.
The set is great for any LOTR fan as it is easy to remake into the tower of sauron .The base set by it self offers a wide assortment of areas that you can display minifigures and play out different sceens.
