The used handset does not work but the charger does
I received it and the charger works and that is apparently what was wrong with the other one I have. Since the other charger still will not charge it. The old one now works when plugged in to that one I received and I am not making a claim as I simply wanted one to work and it would be unfair and too much trouble to try to make a claim. The new hand set will not work with a new battery in it. In this case it worked out without a claim but it came with no battery as advertised but assume it would work with a new battery but that is not the case. Pre owned phone did not work
Unfortunately this pre owned phone did not work and wouldn’t sync with any other base unit when following the programming instructions and it would not charge. I have four of these phones and a similar fault happened to one of those as well. The other 3 are still working. The sound quality is good plus a speakerphone. Bad product
I apparently did poorly on this one. It does not charge the battery. Another phone will charge in the base but this phone will not charge in any base. Have not registered to a base because battery charge indicator indicates not charged. I have tried three batteries, all same result. See battery indicator upper right in photo.

Youtube videos do a better job helping with setup than the manual.

Before you write off your handset/battery...
Check the charger. Our waterproof handset for our Uniden DECT 6.0 system died, so we thought it was probably the battery. Bought a new battery, but it didn't do the trick. Before we assumed it was therefore a fault of the handset (like from being dropped one too many times), I googled other possibilities and discovered a blogger had posted photos of a fried circuit board in their charger which kept it from recharging the battery in their handset. So, I unscrewed the base of our charger and pulled out the board and yup, clearly it was fried just like theirs, a dark brown spot right underneath the module. So, I got one of these chargers and presto, the handset is charging now and keeping its charge!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Not compatible with other systems
