Two great versions of the tale, with great actors' different takes -- what a treat!
I've wanted this for years, and finally found an affordable one here! Two classic versions of a classic story, with classic performances to compare. March vs. Tracy, Hopkins vs. Bergman -- all wonderful, each with different strengths and nuances. The pre-code advantage probably gives the edge to the earlier film, but they're both terrifically harrowing, and just terrific.

Dr.s Jekyll & Mr.s Hyde.
Entertaining double feature, unfortunately out of print. The 1932 version is different from the 1989 vhs release. The Paramount logo is restored, (the previous version had an MGM logo) and a jump cut during the garter scene is gone. Both versions make for one excellent DVD.

Old-time fright night
Classic horror film versions of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, 1932 and 1941, on DVD make for an old-time fright night. The DVD has remarkable clarity for old films and the two versions make for a good value.

Very good movies!
This DVD, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde 1932/1941 are very good versions of these movies. I have watched both, very nice. Thank You.

Barely okay...
Great value. 2 New and Sealed movies for only $3. And you get what you pay for.. When you're watching something and waiting for it (them) to just end.... lol Enough said.
