Product Information

An early entry in Nintendo's Puzzle League series, Tetris Attack is a tile-matching action puzzle game. As in the original Tetris, the game is played on a rectangular field that fills with blocks, but similarities end there. In Tetris Attack, the blocks push up from the bottom of the screen, and players must match three or more in a row or column to remove them from the field. Matches are made by swapping any two horizontally adjacent blocks, as selected with a zippy cursor. A password system allows players to save their progress. The Game Boy version of Tetris Attack offers five single-player modes: "Endless," "Puzzle," "Stage Clear," "Time Trial," and a competitive mode against a computer player. A two-player competitive mode is available through a link cable connection.

    Fantastic classic puzzle game.

    In japan it is known by Panel De Pon, but for Western gamers, it has been associated with, in this case the Tetris franchise and in other iterations, the Pokémon games as "Pokémon Puzzle League" Rest assured that it is all based on the same puzzle mechanic. The only real evolution to the formula comes in the N64 version which introduces 3D cylinder shaped puzzles! No matter what you call it, it is a frantic, yet highly addictive puzzle game where the point is to slide pieces to form 3 in a row combos to try to clear the board.

    Was in great condition and works

    I saw no problems with the product. I love Tetris Attack, so playing on a Gameboy Color was a very charming experience! The cartridge was in good condition (had much less yellowed plastic than my other cartridges) and the game ran very well.

    Great game for my good old Gameboy Advance. Hours of fun with this one.

    I play this game every few days. I love how they included Mario characters in the game. Was nice to see Yoshi and Lakitu and made me smile when I saw them, I knew I had to have it after trying it out on my computer first. Now I have a copy I can take anywhere with me.

    Throwback!

    I used to love playing this on the Super Nintendo and googled it to see there was a game on the gameboy. I was so excited. Works great, very happy! Came quick also. Thanks!
