Easy to take the saw to material instead of the material to the saw.
I would recommend it, the value is good and the quality is okay. Set up was fairly simple, had to make a few adjustments. I suggest you check the measured cut before using it after it has been set up for a while. The only concern I have is the base mount for the circular saw. You would think Kreg would have a better and strong base then the plastic used. It's okay, and the clamp that holds the base to the adjustable cutting slide is a little weak as well. I expect I'll have to change that after some serious use. What ever you do....don't drop it.

Another great product from Kreg jig
This is a must have tool for anyone that works with sheets of plywood. It makes cutting down a 4 x 8 ft sheet of material easy, safe, accurate, repeatable cuts and doable by one person without the cost and size of a panel saw. This is another very innovative design from "kreg jig" that is well built and will provide many years of service.

WOW !!! I'm totally impressed!!! I could never cut very good with a circular saw and I'm doing a project were I have to rip a bunch of 3/4" plywood and I saw a video on this kreg jig so I figured I would give it a try. I put my circular saw on it which took no time and started cutting I set it up to cut 3" off the length of the plywood and it's dead on the money!! Now I cut excited straight and smooth lines every time!! Thank you very much!!

Ripping plywood was never so easy.
Installed a fresh blade on my saw and tried the new guide. The cuts stay perfectly true even after cutting multiple strips from the same sheet. Also works great for cutting boards into narrow strips.

Buy it especially if you are not experienced or have a small area to do these cuts like me
an accurate device saves me a lot of set uptime to make the rip cuts I need to cut large pieces of plywood: just set it and forget it

Must buy. Cuts from 1" to 24" with dead on accuracy.
Best tool I've bought in a while. The easiest way to calibrate it it to attach it to your saw (mine is an 18 volt Ryobi- 7 1/4"). I set a mark at 6 inches and pretended to make the cut, then moved the clear plastic piece on the ruler to the 6 inch mark. And now its calibrated, dead on every time.

Not a quality tool
I’ve been using the pocket hole jigs for years and so figured I’d try this product out. Lots of plastic parts, and so it feels pretty flimsy. I have a worm drive skill saw that I used with this, and the clamps that hold the saw on the guide really only fit on one side, and I’d have to readjust it after each cut to make sure it was square. I boukgt this thinking it would be an easier option than hauling my table saw to the job site, but after one project, im not sure I would use this again.

Be careful. It does not fit some circular saws. I have a Porter Cable Razor and the saw base is too thick to mount on the Kreg Rip-Cut.
I called Kreg and they agreed mine would not fit but "oh well". Would be nice if they listed saws that either fit or don't fit. I have several other Kreg products and all have been quality products and I would assume this will be too if you can use it.

Dont bother
cheap plastic. Loose action. WAY overpriced. Buy a track saw set up. It will be better for many things . This thing is lame. NOT worth the money.

Great alternative to ripping on a work site table saw
