Players take control of tricked-out sports cars, from a third-person perspective set slightly behind and high above the vehicle. The game's story, which emphasizes the importance of image and self confidence, develops through cut-scenes and graphic adventure-style sequences. A cast of uber-elite, above-the-law characters -- the "Glimmerati" -- pose various driving challenges to the hero, who wishes to prove himself worthy of joining their ranks. Wireless multiplayer modes make use of the handheld's built-in Bluetooth technology.
