Headphone review Sennheiser HD599.
Great sounding wired headphones, plenty of bass, excellent midrange and clear treble, nothing better at this price range, direct from sennheiser my favourite headphone maker!!. Very happy. Merry Xmas to all !!.

Sennheiser HD 599 headphones
This is my second pair as I liked the 1st pair so much. For the price they are comfy and the sound is good . Another thing I like is the ear pads...They don't flake away ,which has happened to me with more expensive headphones! Recommended.

Not cheap, but very good value.
Sennheiser make very good headphones, I have a old pair about 40 years old, and still work well. I bought the HD599 headphones as a upgrade. They are not light in weight, but very comfortable to wear,and very easy to listen to.

quality around-the-ear headphones
the headphones offer an excellent price/performance ratio, good bass and mids, slightly softer highs, excellent surround sound - there are not many headphones of this quality in the category under about 150 pounds - I highly recommend them.

Would recommend if you can stand the tightness to the head.
Really good sounding phones, with a good build quality. One slight niggle is how tight they are clamped to the sides of my head, especially as I wear glasses. the HD598s I had were not quite as tight.

Truly excellent headphones.
I use these headphones with my Johannus organ and the sound is superb. They are just what I wanted, first class. The sound is clear and well defined, with a flat response across the frequency range.

Don't listen to audio snobs.
Don't listen to audio snobs. They'll have you believe a good set of headphones is one with a price tag of £500, or more. Sure, if you want to hear the full "ting" of Baldrick's triangle you'll need to splash the cash, but for us ordinary folk these Sennheiser HD599s are all we're going to need. Good base, good highs, good midrange - and at this price it's a snip.

Cool headphones..
