Great option
This product seems well made and it is easy to use. It is ready to use out of the box as batteries are Supplied. It comes in a tin box which should keep It safe when you store it.

I read all the online reviews I could find before purchasing. There were some negative comments about it not working as it should, but I found that if you follow the instructions, i.e. allow it to self-calibrate after switching on, place your spare hand on the wall to act as an earth etc, it worked perfectly. I practiced on known hidden cabling under the solid brick wall surface and it picked them up every time. I would not use it on old lath & plaster walls though due to the number of nails.

Accurate, bosch quality
Good quality tester, better than the cheaper Chinese testers available now. Pretty accurate too.
