A Clean Translation
Great translation, free of the doctrinal slant of any contemporary denomination. Just the text, translated directly from the Greek by the guy who translated The Odyssey that many of us had to read in high school and/or college. These gospels are simple accounts. They read like straightforward stories and allow the reader to, in the words of John Prine, "find Jesus on their own" - or not. Either way, refreshing, compelling reading.
