Influenced by low-budget horror films of the 1950s (and beyond), and by the shooting action of Robotron: 2084, Zombies Ate My Neighbors has one or two players (simultaneous) running around suburbia, using a squirt gun to blast mummies, pod plants, and other creepy creatures. Cheerleaders, tourists, and other innocents should be rescued, and footballs, bazookas, weed-eaters, and other weapons can be picked up for added firepower. Additional items include keys for opening doors and Monster Potion that turns your character into a purple beast capable of bashing through walls. Filled with tongue-in-cheek humor, fast-paced gameplay, tons of levels, and cartoonish graphics and sound effects, Zombies Ate My Neighbors breathes new life into your Super NES.

    The Hidden Gem of the SNES

    Excellent game! Been looking to get this game for quite some time, glad I've finally got it! It's a perfect couch co-op for the SNES if you're a lover of quirky B-Movie Horror flicks. The game, while it can be tough in the later stages, it compels you to hit the start button to try again, you can use the password if you want but it resets your item stock so it's in your best interest to start fresh. Overall I recommend this game fully if you can find a reasonable deal on it, I love the game, but 60 bucks is a bit steep for a game like this

    Awesome nostalgic game

    Great sound, and graphics. Gameplay is fun and fluid and brought me right back to my childhood. Make sure you get a decent way to upscale the connectection from your snes to your tv. Such a blast.

    An SNES Classic

    It's a fun game and really captures the appeal if you're into 90's run and gun games. The 2-player mode helps make it even more compelling.
