Heavy subject matter
The Color Purple is an award winning classic! Very entertaining. Yet the subject matter is very heavy. The story line is set from 1910-1940. It deals with incest, rape & racial inequality. The story is well written. And there are some funny times as well as sad times. A movie that depicts life on different levels
I saw the movie many years ago and it was really enjoyable to see it again and catch so many things that I missed obviously the first time a wonderful movie that is a bit of a tearjerker at the end it was the perfect Thanksgiving weekend movie...Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
