Much improved skimmer does a great job
I bought this new version of the skimmer to replace the one that had come with my bio cube from several years ago. The old one never produced any foam, and was just a waste of space. I had been noticing a lot more issues with water clarity recently as I bought some new fish and decided to try the new skimmer. Very easy to set up (not sure if I have a 29G or 32G) and it consistently produces a lot of foam and my water looks much better now. I’m liking it so far.
I replaced my wood air stone version with this and seems to be working good. Makes the same amount of noise as a decent air pump did for the air stone. But does seem to create a thicker richer foam with darker skimmate. The lid always pops off so it needs to be held down. This happened on version 1 as well so no big deal. I made my own solution. Happy reefing!

Crappy quality
This product was designed to fit in the size tank I have ans it constantly falls apart. Has 3 dif adjustments but when you adjust one the others snap out of place. Poorly designed. Vast improvement
The upgrades for the pump and the collection cup are exactly what they needed. I have been getting a good amount of skim every week and don’t need to make constant adjustments like I had to with original. Definitely recommend for nano/AIO tanks.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
