It's a matter of your taste for Doris Day films
I bought the set for 2 movies: Romance on the High Seas & My Dream Is Yours which I like very much. But the other films are not my cup of tea with Doris Day acting out characters that are too hyper-active for my taste. I also enjoy her film, Pillow Talk with Rock Hudson. Doris and Judy
Doris Day was born the same year as Judy Garland, but didn't "arrive" as a Hollywood star until 20 years after Judy Garland had arrived. Judy Garland was "used" by Hollywood until they virtually discarded her. Doris Day had the advantage of "arriving" 20 years after the worst abuses of the Hollywood system had run their course, and, not coincidentally, lived 50 years longer than Judy Garland. Judy and Doris, born in the same year, were undoubtedly the two most enormously talented women ever to grace the silver screen.
