    Hauntingly Beautiful

    This is the most hauntingly beautiful book, ever. Absolutely gorgeous photos, intriguing captions and stories behind them. The book itself is equally stunning. One of my most cherished purchases to date. I highly recommend this treasure to anyone interested in the art of Victorian Mourning.

    A Lovely Book to add to Your Collection.

    This book is more pictures than text. Many of the photos are explained and in some instances, named. The over all quality is excellent. This book is a fine addition to anyone collection.

    An insight into Victorian life.

    This is a fascinating look into one of the practices of Victorian life. It is a really beautiful book. It shows how much family cared about each other, as the pictures will tell. I really enjoyed it.

    Enchanting & creepy

    Beautifully eerie photographs. Lovely antique-looking cover. Perhaps the best book I have come across on post-mortem/mourning photography. Highly recommend.
