Franklin KJB-640 Electronic Bible Review
This KJB-640 has the basic features that one who is a student of the Bible would want - Scripture search/locator, Concordance, etc. We found that it was reasonably adept at locating a Scripture based on a search word or phrase but it could be stumped occasionally. This was slightly disappointing but not an issue which would warrant buying a higher end model. The unit is quite easy to learn to use (once one downloads the manual from the internet). The 640 does have expandability via a cartridge. However, this unit did not come with any Bookman cartridges so we cannot address that option. The lettering on the keypad is marginal to begin with so if one uses the keys much expect the lettering to disappear in accordance with the amount of use. We liked the portability of the unit. It will fit in a large pocket or Bible case with ease. While the case/cover that came with the device is low quality in terms of durability, we can use a small pouch which is a must if it is transported around much.

Good clear letters but to many computer bugs.
The Franklin Bookman Bible has nice clear letters and is easy to read. The only problems are when you turn it off when you finish reading, it doesn't save the place where you left off. And the when you use the bookmark to save a scripture, when you turn it off it doesn't save the scriptures.

Franklin Electronic Bible = )
I love my electronic Bible. It is a great way to find scriptures that I want to read fast and easy. Its size makes it easy to carry and it is easy to use. I am very happy with it.

Franklin Bible Computer
Excellent product. I use it all of the time for word studies. One of the best investments that I have ever made. All off my expectations were met eith this wonderful product

unreadable
there are several lines in the dot matrix screen that are missing making the text unreadable, its worthless to me, it might be good for parts or something. i figured id keep it because the guts might fit the one i ordered last month, its screen is only missing one line of dot matrix so you can actually still read it

Need night light on it
