"add more pheromone's"
I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this film. I was a fan of the Buffy series and expected Joss Whedon to bring an original script and concept. Don't want to give too much away about the surprises and story line but a few of the idea's may remind some fan's about certain Buffy episodes. You'll also see a few appearances from a couple actors from the Buffy series as well as a few appearances from some big name actors who have been in other Joss Whedon related films (Alien Resurrection). I would definitely say this is a horror film worth buying.....especially if you love films that don't have happy endings :)!!!!!!!!!! (you'll get the title of this review if you see the film)

Different kind of horror movie
The Cabin in the Woods puts a different spin on teens in peril in the woods trope. Its thrilling, engaging and has an ending not usually seen in movies. It also has humor. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

A Refreshing New Take On The Horror/Comedy Genre
As a horror and comedy, and horror-comedy fan, I rarely find films that are truly inspired, creative and have the power to engage over and over. But I have to say, "The Cabin in the Woods" does just that--and more. For my time and money, it's one of the best I've seen in a long time. Interesting characters, plot and great acting--particularly from a few, key players. Witty, ironic, subtle and overt; this movie has it all-and if you are a fan of the genre, you will (at least) appreciate what the writers and director were trying to accomplish, and at best, will really enjoy it. There are a ton of great lines, unexpected scenes, and "gotchas". Many people have written their own reviews and interpretations of what this movie is about and "trying to convey"-it just inspires that type of on-going discussion. I would definitely recommend this movie--it is fun, entertaining, thought-provoking and scary---all at the same time.

An awesome horror movie!
This movie is in very good condition,and it's one that has everything.A great horror movie! Awesome actors,too! If you haven't seen it,you really should if you love horror movies! The only thing bad about it,is that it ends too soon,it's that good!

The Cabin in the Woods dvd
A very interesting approach to a horror film. It was really creative in its construction and may lead to more of this type of film. Where a lot of the horror in the film and what happens is all controlled by an unknown group of people flipping switches. Etc
