Factual Account of Jimi Hendrix's Final Days, A Good Read
This purchase was to replace a copy I loaned out and never got back. I knew the author, who was a dedicated Jimi nut, and he did a good job with this, interviewing people instead of recycling old myths. It seems a factual account of the events of Jimi Hendrix's final days, as the title states. It isn't a lot of fun, but it is a compelling read. Maybe for fans only, but as the truth spirals off into fantasy over the years, it it an essential grounding read. I'd recommend it if you want to read about the person and not the image. A sad end to a genius
I have been a fan of Jimi since he arrived in 1966, I’ve read pretty much all of the books about him over the years and this is probably the saddest. Well written with lots of facts from people close to him. Highly recommended for the serious fan.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
